Belfast Charitable Society are Belfast's first Charitable Organisation.
The Society was formed by a group of leading Businessmen in Belfast in 1752, in order to build a Poor House and Infirmary, to cater for the most vulnerable citizens of Belfast.
Today the Belfast Charitable Society remains an important influence in the City of Belfast, and is proud of its ongoing philanthropic work.
Clifton House is the home of Belfast Charitable Society and the Mary Ann McCracken Foundation.
