Ground floor plan
The plan shows the location of the Senate on the ground floor with a Speaker’s Office immediately adjacent.
The Clerk of Senate occupies a room beyond that, with Black Rod in the adjoining room.
The Committee Room was positioned in the room immediately to the left of the Entrance Hall and a Members’ Lobby immediately to the right. The Tearoom for Members was located adjacent to the Members’ Lobby and beside the Tearoom, the Dining Room and Lounge.
There were several areas set aside for Police in the entrance hall together with a Police Hut and space for the Police Sergeant on Duty within the central courtyard of the College.
