A Silver Gilt  Medallion struck to commemorate the Opening of the Northern Ireland Parliament at City Hall by The King on 22nd June 1921. 

One of three Medallions struck - Bronze, Silver and Gilt Medallions all bearing the same iconography and inscription

Obverse:

The Parliament of Northern Ireland 22nd June 1921 surrounds a representation of the Ulster Flag with Shield, Crown and Raised right hand. The motto below the Shield reads Floreat Ultona ``May Ulster Flourish”

Reverse

A raised bust of King George V looking towards the Left. The raised lettering around the bust sets out GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX
