There were two variants of this produced and which can be seen in different institutions.
The variant held by the Museum of Orange Heritage is a contemporary copy of the Order of the Days events set out over twelve double sided pages.
This lists all of the day's major events and engagements which the various dignitaries undertook whilst the Royal Party was in Belfast for the Opening of Parliament on 22nd June 1921.
The assembled Dignitaries at the event in City Hall that day had a version of this document that would have had identical content within but was Bound more formally with Blue ribbon rather than stapled, and obviously did not have the Price (2 Shillings and Sixpence) embossed on the front!
The Programme of the day's events was evidently published as a commemorative keepsake for interested members of the Public to keep after the events of the Day.
The programme was printed by local Printers Neville R Williamson whose title is embossed as part of the front Print design.
Owned by the Museum of Orange History they were gifted to the MOH by the Estate of David Brewster. David had a significant collection amassed during his lifetime of various Northern Ireland, Orange and Unionist memorabilia. This collection was gifted in it’s entirety to the Museum of Orange Heritage upon his death. Images used by Permission of The Museum Of Orange Heritage
